
Steamed NZ Greenshell Mussel with Sake and Butter
Ingredients
- NZ Greenshell Mussels in half shell - 6 pieces
- Japanese Miso Paste - 2 tsp
(add Korean Gochujang for spicy taste)
- Mayonnaise - 2 Tbsp
- Fresh Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 tsp
- Spring onion (finely chopped) - 2 Tbsp
Method
1. For miso sauce: mix miso paste, mayonnaise, fresh garlic and spring onions in a bowl
2. Place half shell mussels on an oven tray or in an oven proof dish and add 1 Tbsp of sauce to
each mussel
3. Bake in preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes
4. Remove from heat and serve
